Allis Chalmers Industrial Tractors

Allis Chalmers started as a company with a broad range of manufacturing interests, but it was ultimately its tractors that became the foundation of its business. Allis bought up many companies up until the 1980's which it started to struggle. A sale turned the company into Duetz-Allis, which later sold to AGCO where it was briefly branded Agco-Allis. The only modern remains of the company are a line of lawn equipment sold by Briggs and Stratton.
